"Legends told, that in a tiny Mexican fishers village, there was a woman that was desired by all men. She however, promised her heart to a traveling mariachi.A jealous man could not stand to see her with another man an abducted her to a nearby cave.so blind with desire, he forgot about the upcoming flood and they both drowned.The Mariachi searched for his love, but it was all in vein. Thinking that she left him, he was ready to leave the village, but was stopped by a spirit guide.The guide told him what happend and took pity on him. He arranged for him to meet his love in the market place, for one final dance to say his goodbyes.The Mariachi ran to the village and took his love in his arms. Not ready to say goodbye, they kept on dancing for at least 2 days, until he succumbed to fatigue and died. They both departed to "the other side"Now, every year on dias de los muertos, you can see them dancing on the town square."
